    Good News | ReaVis PV Technology Wins Prestigious Award at DVN Innovation Night

    On September 8–9, the 41st DVN Shanghai Automotive Lighting Symposium and the 12th DVN Shanghai Interior Cockpit Symposium kicked off simultaneously at the Binjiang 1353 Conference Center in Huangpu District, Shanghai. Centered around two core themes — "Vehicle Lighting Experience: Technology, Innovation, Safety & Design" and "The Future of Automotive Interiors: Shaping the Holistic Cockpit Experience" — the conference brought together hundreds of OEM decision-makers, supply chain partners, and industry experts from around the world to explore hot topics including automotive lighting, intelligent cockpits, and in-vehicle displays, and to discuss the future of industry innovation.

    At the DVN Shanghai Innovation Night Awards Ceremony held alongside the conference, ReaVis won an industry award for its self-developed RV Parallel Vector® Ghost-image Free (PV) Technology.

    Conventional HUDs typically require customized wedge-film windshields to eliminate imaging ghosting, which not only increases overall vehicle costs but also limits the large-scale adoption of HUD in mainstream models. ReaVis's RV Parallel Vector® Ghost-image Free Technology, built on fundamental optical architecture innovation, delivers clear, ghost-free imaging on standard windshields without the need for customized wedge-film glass. This solution is compatible with multiple light engine architectures and can be applied across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, rail transit, and other vehicle types — reducing automakers' dependence on customized glass, controlling overall cockpit system costs, and accelerating the penetration of HUD from premium models to mass-market vehicles.

    At this DVN conference, Ruocheng Yin, R&D Director of ReaVis, took the stage at the 12th DVN Interior Cockpit Symposium to deliver a keynote speech titled "Introduction to Lightweight AR-HUD Algorithms."​ In his presentation, he provided a detailed introduction to ReaVis's lightweight AR-HUD algorithm solution: the system requires neither HD maps nor LiDAR as supporting inputs — relying solely on a forward-facing camera combined with standard navigation data, it can overlay guidance lines for going straight, turning, and navigating roundabouts onto the real road surface in real time.

    ReaVis remains committed to empowering intelligent cockpits through fundamental optical and algorithmic innovation. Moving forward, the company will continue to iterate its RV Parallel Vector® Ghost-image Free Technology, refine fully producible, cost-effective turnkey solutions, and strengthen collaboration with industry partners to help bring HUD to more vehicles at greater scale and speed.
